7 Days of Prayer

Beginning 2025 on our knees before Almighty God seems an appropriate posture for those who love, trust, and follow God in Jesus Christ.  At Strong Tower Haiti, we want to encourage you (whether you pray on your knees or out walking around), to PRAY!

It is our privilege as people devoted to Jesus Christ to join together during the next seven days in prayer for Strong Tower Haiti. By lifting our hearts and voices in unison we strengthen the Angels of Heavenly Armies to take back the territory of God’s beautiful creation on the island of Haiti that the enemy has tried to steal. Our prayers will serve as incense before the Throne that will break through diabolical assignment and spiritual barriers caused by generational curses on this nation.  We devote the next seven days to prayer, praise and worship as we stand on the promises of an Almighty God who hears our every request.

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 NKJV

Day 1: January 1, 2025

Day 1: THANKSGIVING FOR MISSION/STRONG TOWER

“Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”  Psalm 100:3-5

Heavenly Father, Lord God Almighty, it is with grateful hearts and praise on our lips that we enter Your presence today.  We thank You for the vision You put before Strong Tower to provide a family environment for 19 vulnerable girls in Caracol, Haiti. We give You glory for the young women they are becoming. We ask for Your protection over the 3 girls who have experienced reunification with family members and for continued blessings for the 16 who remain in residential care.  We lift up the staff and house mothers, who so diligently care for these young ladies, to You for protection, wisdom, and patience. We thank You for the prayers and donations that continue to sustain Strong Tower Haiti. We praise You for the continued calling on the lives of those who are willing to go serve on mission trips. We ask for favor and mercy according to Your Goodness on each trip in 2025. We ask for continued discernment from the Holy Spirit for everyone involved so that Strong Tower may live out the mission You established according to Your Sovereign Will. We plead the Blood of the Lamb over the compound and land on which You have built Your vision and ask that You keep Your heavenly angels standing guard over all that is consecrated for Your holy work.  We ask all of this in the powerful Name of Jesus, Amen.

Day 2: January 2, 2025

Day 2: VISION AND PROVISION

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen” Philippians 4:19-20

Merciful Father, Lord God Almighty, it is with humble hearts we approach Your Throne of Grace. We are a people of plenty who live an abundant life because of the gift of Your Son. We ask that You guide and direct all of us according to Your vision for Strong Tower Haiti. We thank You for providing for this nation that is in such dire need. We ask You to stir the hearts of everyone who is praying today to give in good measure according to the measure You pour out on us. We pray for Your Divine Will for the mission in Caracol to be accomplished in Jesus’ Name. We pray mightily in the authority of the Name of Jesus for all barriers and obstacles for sufficient food supply to be removed. By the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony we decree all spirits of oppression and starvation to be bound and sent back from whence they came. Father God, as the One whom the winds and waves obey, we ask You to send substantial rainfall and not devastating floods in order that crops may yield an abundant harvest for the people.  Lord, You are the God of all creation and what You have created is more than enough. We thank You for the supply according to Your glorious riches and we ask, in humility, for a fairer distribution. Remind us that it is more blessed to give than to receive. We ask for favor and blessings on flights into and out of this country that suffers from political unrest.  We ask for courage and empowerment for missionaries who are deliverers of the truth of Your word and distributors of Your great love. We give You all honor and glory for meeting the needs of our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We ask for more provision according to Your Sovereign Will. We ask for better vision and discernment for providing in the future. In the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

Day 3: January 3, 2025

Day 3: EDUCATION/EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:26-28

Gracious Father, Almighty God, we are so thankful for the schools that remain open during this time of unrest in Haiti. We lift up the schools in areas that are unable to sustain in volatile times and we thank You for Your Divine Protection over all the children of Haiti. We thank You for the schools in Caracol that remain open.  We give You honor and praise that Strong Tower can provide lunches daily for all of the children who attend school on the compound, including the 16 girls in residential care.  We give You praise and glory for the opportunity of college and/or trade schools that are available to each of these girls as well. We give thanks to the Holy Spirit as He intercedes and directs Your people to give according to the measure of their blessings bestowed from You.  Bless the donations and those who give to make the work of Strong Tower possible.  We thank You for the opportunity that schools provide for employment as well. We pray for discernment and guidance for all the faithful teachers in the schools.  Please bless these diligent servants who know You and know that the future of their nation depends on the education of future generations.

We lift up to You the economy of this nation. We pray in the Name of Jesus that diabolical assignments for government takeover be cancelled, and gang activity be obstructed.  We ask for safety at the borders and that supplies are supernaturally delivered to the people by the Power of the Holy Spirit.  We plead the Blood of the Lamb over small businesses, enterprises, laborers, fishermen, teachers, doctors and professionals. We ask that You open doors that only You can open and that no man can close. In a nation where little opportunity exists, we are standing firm on Your promise that “all things are possible with Christ.”  From the humility of our hearts, those of us who experience the abundance of Your blessing, pray for the success and prosperity of the businesswomen who were helped by the micro-financing program established by Strong Tower. We ask for continued blessing over their business endeavors. We ask for Divine Guidance for our next steps according to you Sovereign Will for the employment opportunities for the people of Caracol. By the Authority of the Name of Jesus, which You placed above all names, we command all spirits of evil and oppression to be destroyed so the people of Caracol may experience the plans for hope and future that You have promised to all who seek You. We thank You for hearing our prayers and we ask all of this in the Powerful Name of Jesus. Amen

Day 4: January 4, 2025

Day 4:  LEADERS/GOV

“See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.  Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor. Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.  Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” Isaiah 55:4-7

Heavenly Father, we come boldly and ever so humbly before You at Your invitation through Jesus Christ Your Son, our Lord, Savior and Friend.  We acknowledge You, Jesus, as “the King of all kings and Lord of all lords,” and confess our wholehearted trust and belief in Your power and ability to do miracles, to intervene mightily in the hearts of individuals and in the souls of nations.  We plead Your precious blood over our own body, mind, and soul, and ask You to cleanse and forgive us from all unrighteousness.  Give us a passion to pray to You, to listen for Your voice, to pray Your Word in faith and hope, and to intercede in “faith, hope, and love” on behalf of the country we know and love as Haiti, and on behalf of its governmental and spiritual leaders.  We believe You hear our hearts and prayers, and we believe You have been, are, and will be sending Your sovereign and best solutions to these requests, hearing our hearts when all we have sometimes is unutterable groans and the question of the psalmist, “how long O LORD?!”

Father, we’re asking in the authority of Your Son Jesus, that “Your KINGDOM will come” to Haiti, and “Your will be done” in and through Haiti, “as it is in Heaven.”  As King of the universe, we are asking You to bring YOUR person to be the President of Haiti in 2025.  We know that there haven’t been fair and just elections by the people for years and ask YOU to create the environment by inspiring courage and conviction into those in Haiti who are able to make this come to pass by Your great power.  We know that “there is no authority except that which YOU have established” (Romans 13:1).  Would Haiti’s yet to be established government come into existence by YOUR establishing, God.

We pray accordingly for the Prime Minister of Your choice for Haiti ~ a person who loves you through Jesus Christ, who is filled by the power of Your Holy Spirit, who fears no evil because he trusts wholeheartedly in YOU.

We pray for the Cabinet, Parliament, and the Senate (with 30 seats to fill!)  May you bring about a fair and just election for the people to bring to leadership whom YOU inspire them to bring.  May 2025 break the stranglehold which has prohibited elections since 2016.  Would the Chamber of Deputies (with 119 seats to fill!) be filled with the godly ones whom YOU inspire to sit in the place of governmental leadership and authority in Haiti.  The Supreme Court is in need of godly and courageous judges in these days of mayhem, anarchy and corruption in Haiti.  Your Word declares that “when the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan” Proverb 29:2.  You and we have heard the groans of Haiti’s people for decades, oh God.  Please bring the righteous to govern.  Pull down the strongholds of murderous, demonic strongholds in which the gangs of Haiti thrive.  Bring Your LIGHT, Lord Jesus, into every dark corner of Haiti and show YOUR Glory there!  Empower and inspire Your people, God, to “act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with you” Micah 6:8.

Day 5: January 5, 2025

Day 5: COMMUNITY/COOPERATION

“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:7,13 NIV

Blessed Redeemer, Savior, Lord God Almighty, we give You all praise, honor and blessing that is due to Your Holy Name.  You are the author and perfector of our faith. We thank You for bringing together hearts and minds across the globe through Your vision of Strong Tower Haiti. Let us not lose sight of Your Sovereign Will being done at Strong Tower. Keep us spiritually aligned with each other and Your Kingdom work. We need You and we need each other. We ask that Your love would raise up a spirit of cooperation among the leaders of Strong Tower both in the states and across the sea.  Keep the lines of communication open and the understanding of Your vision for the future clear to all involved. Let there be total transparency and continued support between the administration, the donors, the recipients, and all the staff who seek to do Your will. Bless the Board of Directors, the volunteers, the missionaries, and the leaders of Strong Tower. Through Your Power and not our might please let Strong Tower be a pillar of strength and resource in the community of Caracol. Give the government of Haiti a continued understanding of what Your Divine protection and provision looks like for their people. May the presence of Strong Tower be a beacon of Your Light that guides an entire nation to Your Love and salvation. May the presence of Strong Tower and the influence of the girls being raised there be a manifestation of Your Glory in biblical proportion.  We thank You for the relationships that have been established by Your Divine appointment. We give you thanks for the dome of protection that continually rests over the walls of Strong Tower, the school and Church of The Redeemer and the entire village of Caracol.  By the Blood of the Lamb do not remove this Divine protection from the community. We ask the Holy Spirit for continued communication with Your faithful servants for prayers, donations, service and support according to Your Will. We ask for strengthening of families in the community and reunification of families, whenever possible.  We ask for shared vision and open communication, amid cultural differences and limited language barriers.  We ask for joined hearts, sound minds, and spiritual guidance to keep the vision of Strong Tower aligned with Your Sovereign Will.  We thank you for every person across the globe who has a heart for Strong Tower Haiti.  We plead the Blood of the Lamb over the future of Strong Tower Haiti and we give You praise, honor and all the glory for what Strong Tower is and what it is to become. We ask all of this in the Powerful Name of Jesus. Amen

Day 6: January 6, 2025

Day 6: HEALTH/HOPE

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”  Isaiah 43:2 NLT

God of Hope, Almighty Father, from You whom all blessing flow.  We bring You our praise and glory because You alone are the source of all hope.  You are the Ultimate Provider and Great Physician.  It is in You that we place all hope for the nation of Haiti (as well as our own).  In a land where there is limited or sometimes no access to health care of any kind, we thank You for the blessings of medical mission trips and supplies that Strong Tower can provide.  Please continue to guide and direct those who have limitless access to health care needs in making provision for those who have not. We ask that you train up the girls in care at Strong Tower and call them according to Your purpose to bring hope and light into a nation of darkness. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, we claim supernatural protection over the village of Caracol, the Church of the Redeemer, the staff and leaders, teachers, caregivers and residents of Strong Tower.  We pray for healing of diseases according to the stripes you bore and the promise of Your Word. We thank you, Jesus for the shed blood through which the power of healing comes. We thank you, Jesus for the hope of salvation that was purchased with your blood. We ask for blessing and favor over all the missionaries who serve in the Name of Jesus to deliver this message of Hope. By the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony we claim birth of healthy babies, nourishment and provision for children, eradication of cholera and diseases due to lack of clean water, relief of pain and suffering in the elderly, and safety from violence and the evil of gang activity. In the Name of Jesus we break generational curses and ask for restored DNA in this and future generations according to the promises of Your Word. Lord, there is none more powerful than You and none more generous than You. We give You praise, blessing and honor for moving ahead of our prayers and driving out the enemy. Continue to align our hearts with Your Vision and give us discernment for Your Sovereign Will. Let us do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit but in all of our endeavors help us esteem others ahead of our needs. In the Name of Jesus, destroy the enemy and extinguish the darkness with Your light that brings health and hope to this and every nation. In the Precious Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen

Day 7: January 7. 2025

Day 7: SPIRITUAL LEADERS/CHURCHES

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Father, we understand that national unity and harmony requires work and commitment from all citizens of Haiti.  So many are too hungry, too tired, too hopeless to hope!  Please bring Your Comforter, Your Holy Spirit, Your presence into every neighborhood, every city and village of Haiti.  Pull down the scourge of witchcraft and Voodoo and esteem Your rightful place as Lord over every place, every person, and every political enterprise.

We know that Your Word reminds us that Your Church is to be bringing the Good News, the glory of Jesus, and the goal of Your Kingdom to Haiti.  I pray for every Pastor, every deacon, every elder, every Bishop, every teacher, preacher, church attender, and lover of YOU to find a holy boldness to STAND in full spiritual armor in 2025.  Stir up a reviving and renewing among Your people, Jesus.  Begin with Your prayer for unity being answered among the pastors of all Ten Departments (States) of Haiti.  The north has been considered “Christian” for years, and the south, pagan.  Bring Your glorious rule and order in the power of YOUR love to YOUR people, O God.  Give pastors a desperate sense of needing one another as they need YOU.  Give them a yearning to pray together, to be in Your Word together, to uphold one another, encourage one another, and to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, that “the world of Haiti will know they’re Your disciples by how they love one another.”  As pastors model Your heart toward one another, then would every congregation begin to be changed by YOU, as every person in each of Your precious fellowships begins to know “how good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters dwell in unity!” Psalm 133:1 and the power of Your love in the fellowship of Your Holy Spirit.

God., bring into order in Haiti that which is in disorder in all aspects of leadership, government, citizenship, and justice.  Beginning with Your Church, oh Lord Jesus, turn their hearts to yearn to “live in harmony with one another, not being proud, but willing to associate with people of low position; not being conceited” Romans 12:16.  Make them “likeminded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind” (Philippians 2:2).  Father, would YOU be the God and Father of millions more Haitians in 2025 through Jesus Christ, their Savior and Lord!?  SAVE Haiti, oh God…Make Your Church the purveyors and distributors of Good News with genuine love throughout the north, south, east and west of Haiti.  And would Your people, beginning with Your Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, Prophets, and Teachers, “putting on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity” Colossians 3:14.  Would these holy attributes of You and Your people then pour forth throughout every square inch of Haiti, bringing Your good, perfect, and pleasing will to the whole island in 2025.  Nothing is too difficult for You, oh God!  May our prayers reflect that we believe this.  And remembering that “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from You Father, the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow due to change,” James 1:17, we are, even now, giving You all the praise and thanks and glory due Your Name for inviting us to join You in Your work and purposes in Haiti, and even in this time of prayer…In Jesus’s Name…AMEN!

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
