Dear Strong Tower Haiti Friends,
In the spirit of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and on behalf of the Strong Tower Haiti Board, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You!” to you, our Champions, for your faithfulness in prayer, generous giving and continued support.
Thanks to your generosity we have been able to ensure the nutritional, medical, educational and spiritual needs of the 19 girls living in the Strong Tower Haiti family home are being met! And for that we are thankful beyond measure!!
We do need to let you know the girls are experiencing some “growing pains” too. Can you believe the girls now range in age from 12- to 17-years old? Can you imagine 19 teenage girls sharing 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all under one roof? No? We can’t either!! What we have come to realize over the past year is that the girls have outgrown their current living space.
Through prayerful consideration and collaboration with both American and Haitian partners, we have designed and approved a plan to add 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom through a second story addition to the existing building adjacent to the family home. This addition will provide much needed space and room for the girls to grow.
At this time, I would like to invite you to join us in celebrating #GivingTuesday and our nations tradition of generosity and charitable giving.
In the coming days we will be launching our #GivingTuesday campaign, which provides you the opportunity to give towards our Building Project by donating funds to be used for blocks, nails, plywood, paint, tile, cement, labor etc.
As you consider your year-end giving, we hope you will remember the impact your generosity has on the lives of the girls thriving in the love and care of family at the Strong Tower Haiti home.
